| Phenomenal reddish orange spessartite from my trip this summer; spessartite doesn't get much better than this. The only down side are some strings of tiny bubble inclusions that bisect the stone -- though you'd never see them unless the light is just so and you're looking. |

| Somehow this stone balances deep, rich green color with an amazing brightness & sparkle. There are some typical feathers as is common to green grossular, but they get completely lost in the lush color and flash. If I were to make a tsavorite ring for myself, this is the stone I'd want! |

| This garnet represents the other colors which come from the Lolatema Mountains in Tanzania. It's a soft, pastel green color-wise, but there is nothing soft about the sparkle. It's an extremely bright stone -- just what you'd expect from grossular. There are a couple feathers in the stone that are not easily visilble face-up, but are obvious when looking at the stone from the reverse. This one is for a pendant or a collection; it's too delicate for a ring stone. |
